These are more specialized and can become costly so some fitness centers do not offer them to members. Pilates is a safe and effective way to get into shape, recover from injury or lose weight. The Pilates exercise machines are optional, but can enhance the workout greatly. No matter what the fitness level or needs of the individual are, Pilates can work for everyone.
